Application:
1. Founding. It is applied in powder form, suspension (on the water basis) and other fluids. Flake graphite is additive to moulding and core sands, increase its resistance, plasticity and bright coal seperating ability.

2. Refractory materials. The large-flake graphite types are used in production of black refractory materials, crucibles and retorts. The additive of graphite increase theirs conductivity, chemical resistance, refractoriness and reduce the friction and ceofficient of thermal expansion.

3. Special lubricants. In production of pastes.

And suspensoids are used fine-flaky graphite and micropowders. They guarantee low friction coefficient at large load, in machines endangered of strokes and overheating. The graphite content in lubricants guarantee maintaining of lubricant properties at long working life (after wear or dry of other lubricant component).

4. Antistatic coats. The graphite is used as a additive to production of conducting and antistatic coats, lining and floors, and anticorrosive paints. The main task of graphite is passivation and carrying away of electric charges.

5. Brake facing. The graphite, used in production of brake and friction lining. Its addition has an well influence on coats durability, reliability and improve of using properties: Heat conduction, abrasion and thermal resistance and friction.

6. Other application. Except of above application, flake graphite is used in production of battery core, composites, sintered carbides, explosive materials and laboratory-instruments.
